Bio- Chef Simon Madera
I have lived in Austin for 17 years. I have a BBA and MBA from St. Edwards University. Lived in Mexico as a child before moving to South Texas (McAllen). Grew up in the restaurant business in the valley where I opened a catering concept, then a modern Mexican Cafe concept with my mother. After grad school I purchased a boutique craft beer, wine and liquor shop, then decided to plan a taco bar concept which is now Taco Flats. We currently purchased a piece of property at 2500 E 6th Street where we will great a Mexico City neighborhood bar concept that seafood, tacos, craft beer and cocktails.
